I'm at my advisor's office to sign up for classes for spring semester after taking the fall off. I'm only 26, but when I look around, I feel too old for this. Can I just be done already?

Sorry for the rant. Have a picture of of a of a friend of a friend of mine competing in Rally America.

Does your school offer online courses?

I was in college for 7 years and all I got was a bachelors (I screwed around WAY to much the first four years.. Had to get myself out of a hole I dug myself the last three). Don't worry, you'll get through it.

totally feel that. I took a semester off about a year ago and have felt like an outsider here ever since. No matter your age (im 22) once you're over the college lifestyle, being around thousands of hyperjudgemental, insecure, inconsiderate little kids really blows. 4 more weeks and im done!! Good luck with finishing up mayne

does your school offer wintersession courses? I took a few of those, packs a whole course in two weeks but it helped me stay on track

I'm 42 and still working on a BS. Do it now! No you are not too old for this... It's really hard when you have kids and all that.

Don't worry about the age thing, I sat next to a 28 year old in a bunch of my classes as a junior when I was at Michigan State. It happens and I actually had a lot of respect for her for coming back and chilling with us kids to better her family. I say family because she actually had a kid too.

Yeah, don't drop the ball now. Just don't put it off. Get it done, then get out there and work it up.

That sounds brutal. I've done a couple 6 week summer courses before, but 2 weeks just seems like it would move too quickly.

they were and weren't at the same time. Obviously the class becomes your life for two weeks, but at the end, you're done. They were 100 level core classes. The business one I took was basically write an entire business plan and then a sociology one I took was read a book, write some essays, and a final paper. Four weeks of my life for 6 credits was well worth it for me

My school offers those in May. It's a full semester, including the final, in 3.5 weeks. I usually take 2 classes in that period. It's hell, but worth it.

Been there since the beginning! I started college at 22 after working full time for a race team for 2 years. College kids have nothing on a race team!

Definitely not wanting to give up on school. I just look around and feel much older. I know I'm only a few years removed from these "kids" but wow.

That sounds better knowing that they were 100 level courses.
